Vets 100 Report

In accordance with Title 38, United States Code, Section 4212(d), the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) collects and compiles data on the Federal Contractor Program Veterans' Employment Report (VETS-100 Report) from Federal contractors and subcontractors who receive Federal contracts that meet the threshold amount of $25,000 or more prior to December 1, 2003 or $100,000 on or after December 1, 2003.

The report provides data for permanent full time and permanent part time employees who were special disabled veterans, Vietnam era veterans, or other protected veterans employed during the 12 months ending July 1st. (These categories are specified in the Attributes tab of the Employee Profile.)

New Hires are permanent full time and part time employees (both veterans and nonveterans) who were included in the payroll for the first time during the 12-month period ending July 1 of the current year. (A "new hire" is anyone who was hired as a permanent employee during the reporting period even if they are not employed now due to layoff, firing, illness or death.)

The maximum and minimum number of permanent employees on board during the 12 months is also included.
